Follow the creation of a memoir on this blog."Years Later We Would Remember" is the title of the documentary and memoir in progress from Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Martin Kent. Its the story of how Martin, who made a documentary on Oskar Schindler, discovered that his father Olek, a Catholic born in Poland, saved his mother Ziuta, a young Jewish girl on the run in 1940s Nazi-occupied Poland. Olek was later awarded the same medal of heroism as... Oskar Schindler. Mr. Kent wants to encourage tolerance and inspire others to search for their family heritage and write about it.
